USG Boral Triton Sound Clouds
The USG Boral Asona Sound Clouds were used in the renovation of the popular Stirling City Library in WA.
15 Circular Triton Sound Clouds of different colour and sizes were suspended from the ceiling and frame at various depths creating an interesting & warm aesthetic with the existing natural timber and providing a performance acoustic buffer. Some of the Clouds have also utilised LED lighting to upplight the ceiling from the back of the units.
The strategic placement is suspended over the young adults reading area and provides very high acoustic absorption of NRC 1.00, softening and greatly reducing inevitable voices to an acceptable level to reduce any disturbance of other facility users.
