Jayaboard Design Competition is an annual competition held by Indonesia BU for professionals / students to showcase their design work related to the theme. The growing tourism trend in Indonesia has inspired USG Boral Indonesia to choose Hotel & Resort as Jayaboard Design Competition 2018 theme. This is the second year Jayaboard Design Competition was held and inviting professional architect to participate in the panel as the star judge to increase more excitement for the event. This year, their work would have the opportunity to be judged and commented by Realrich Sjarief, Principal of RAW Architecture and winner of Indonesia Architecture Community 2017 with his design for OMAH Library.

Jayaboard Design Competition 2018 received more than 300 submissions, the participants increased from last year event that has more than 200 registered participants. The competition was held from 5th March to 23rd April 2018.
Top 5 participants presented their masterpiece at Jayaboard booth on May 5th during the Indobuildtech Expo event in front of the 3 judges, Realrich Sjarief as Professional Architect, Erliana Iliansjah Architectural and Specification Director USG Boral Indonesia, and Indra Wibowo as Technical & Quality Manager of USG Boral Indonesia.

Photo: Riardy with his design Alure won the 1st prize, winning 25 million rupiah plus travelling accommodation to Bali for 3 days and 2 nights.

In order to celebrate the 25 years of USG Boral - Jayaboard in Indonesia, the Top 25 designs of Jayaboard Design Competition 2018 will be collected in ID website gallery. Each design will be posted one per day throughout USG Boral Indonesia digital channels starting from 16th May 2018 until 9th June 2018 with the keyword of 25 Resort Design Inspirations followed by #celebrating25years and #membangunbersamaJayaboard hashtags.
