USG BORAL BUILDING HEALTHCARE INNOVATION & DESIGN SHOW

USGBORAL participation in Building Healthcare Innovation & Design Show held in Dubai on the 11th of September enabled our team to evaluate the healthcare market growth potentials in MENA region.

This event was a good opportunity for some seniors (architects, contractors) to learn about the wide variety of USGBORAL products in the healthcare field. USGBORAL Networking opportunities were to connect with key decision-makers from local government authorities as well as leading private sector organization/institutions.

In addition to the Depute General Manager (Ziad Malek) and Marketing Manager (Ghassan Gharios) the exhibition was overviewed by USGBORAL Sales Team (Bassam Karaan, Elie Mattar, Emilio Khairallah, Karmita Mansour, and Rida). A number of visitors from the health sectors crowded the exhibition during three days. More than 50 professional visitors stopped by our stand seeking information out of which I would assume 60% to be potential (serious) customers.

OBSERVATION:

USGBORAL IS A SOLUTION PROVIDER.

Third year going out with our new identity USGBORAL, the feedback was as follows:

  • We are still recognized as USG main supplier of Mineral Fiber tiles.
  • We introduced our new metal ceiling plant in Dammam.
  • We introduced our new plant in Oman emphasizing the Sheetrock technical board.

Overall, visitors were highly interested in the following products/systems:

  • MF Healthcare Ceiling tiles such as Halcyon Healthcare, cleanroom…..
  • Fiberock, Durock.
  •  Sheetrock wallboard system (showing a mockup sample prepared by Maan and Karim).

IT WAS A GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO PRESENT

OUR NEW METAL CEILING TILE.

The exhibition was a good opportunity to meet with few developers, contractors and consultants and even projects’ owners.

It was a golden occasion to inform them about our latest USG Boral updates regarding healthcare construction sector and in particular:

  • Halcyon healthcare ceiling tiles and planks.
  • Sonata Healthcare.
  • Cleanroom.
  • Taiga Hygiene.
  • Metal Face.
  • Clip-in Plain Alum.
  • Lay-in Plain Alum.

In relation to the above markets conditions, I would personally recommend the following:

  • USGBORAL should be provided with strong technical support (emphasizing the healthcare construction sector) in order to present and promote all (the above) USG BORAL products.
  • The fact is that we are dealing with professional consultant and contractors; we designed our own and necessary marketing tools such as catalog, architect book………. related to healthcare section.

Seminars should be conducted to educate consultants and contractors about USGBORAL (healthcare) products and solutions.

EVALUATING DUBAI EXHIBITION

• Halcyon healthcare ,Sonata Healthcare, Cleanroom, Taiga Hygiene, Metal Face, Clip-in Plain Alum, Lay-in Plain Alum presentation were conducted to all USGBORAL‘s visitors stand.

• Healthcare Market dominant contractors and consultants visited USGBoral stand in order to compete with other participants.

• USGBoral Stand was highly sophisticated and attractive.
